QFN Annual Dinner with Terry Sprague

Reflections on a Career in “Nature Stuff”

Quinte Field Naturalists host their annual dinner with speaker Terry Sprague.

Terry Sprague, "Pied Piper of Nature" from Kingston to Cobourg, has enjoyed almost 40 years as a naturalist.  Over his long career he has introduced scores of people to the joys and mysteries of the natural world through weekly newspaper articles, presentations, tours and hikes.

In 2011, Watershed Magazine selected Terry as one of only ten “Home Town Heroes,” for his passion and dedication to “Nature Stuff”.  Now entertaining thoughts of retirement, Terry will look back on his career and share some of the stories and misadventures he has collected during his years on the trail.
